In a university-wide participatory process, Guiding Principles for Learning and Teaching are currently being developed as an orientation framework in the central issues relating to study and teaching, which is intended to support the success of teaching and learning and the further development of study, teaching and service programmes at TU Braunschweig. This process points the way forward for the further development of teaching and learning and was initiated by Prof Knut Baumann in his role as Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.
In 2023, three workshops already took place with all interested stakeholders at TU Braunschweig. The results of the workshops were directly incorporated into the first draft of the Guiding Principles for Learning and Teaching.
Experience in the development and implementation of guiding principles and teaching strategies has already been gained at other universities. In the digital event "Guiding Principles for Teaching - from document to living culture", an exchange took place in November 2023 with representatives from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Bielefeld University and Münster University of Applied Sciences, to which all members of TU Braunschweig were invited.
Students, teaching staff and employees of TU Braunschweig are invited to actively participate in the process of developing the guiding principles for learning and teaching!
In a digital workshop, we would like to present the current draft of the guiding principles to you:
