The Project Management Office (PMO) of the TU Braunschweig is a staff position in the department of the Principal Vice President. The tasks of the PMO include the realization of projects, currently with a strong focus on the digital transformation of the administration. The PMO acts in three different roles within the projects - advising on smaller projects that are implemented within the department, coordinating in projects whose project management is outside the administration, and as project manager in large-scale administrative projects.
In addition, the PMO is responsible for multi-project management. The focus here is on the analysis of project integration between new and ongoing projects, resource management as well as the execution of project evaluations for final prioritization in the CIO Board.
