The 2nd MINT Day for Teachers at the TU Braunschweig is a university event that serves the further training of teachers in the fields of science and didactics and supports the dialogue between schools and universities.
Under the overarching brand "Check in - Discover Science", the TU Braunschweig unites a wide range of extracurricular learning venues in the MINT field. These practice-oriented projects of numerous committed university institutes can support and enrich teaching in the MINT subjects of all school types and grades in an inspiring way.
Mathematics and computer science, biology, physics and technology, chemistry, subject teaching: TU Braunschweig invites teachers to the MINT Day to present their pupil laboratories and other MINT pupil projects. In addition, stimulating lectures by Braunschweig scientists will provide insights into current research topics in the MINT field and their areas of application.
After the welcoming speech by the President of the TU Braunschweig, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Anke Kaysser-Pyzalla, and the introductory lecture by Prof. Dr. Simone Kauffeld "Fit for MINT? Berufsorientierung im Dschungel der Studienmöglichkeiten" you have the opportunity to choose from various lectures.
In the afternoon, you can choose a project from various student laboratories and workshops, become active yourself and talk to the project leaders.
The 2nd MINT Day of the TU Braunschweig is organised by the School-network in cooperation with the Kompetenzzentrum Lehrerfortbildung.
The symposium is supported by Braunschweigischer Hochschulbund e.V., VERBAND DER CHEMISCHEN INDUSTRIE e.V. (Association of Chemical Industry). (Frankfurt/Main) and by the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker e.V. (German Chemical Society).
