"There are many success factors for a university - one of the most important is the junior researchers. It is therefore a major concern of the Technical University of Braunschweig to offer tailored social events to children, adolescents, their parents, and teachers at an early stage."
The Technical University of Braunschweig is particularly committed to promoting early career support. The School-University Working Group (AG Schule-Uni), under the umbrella brand Check-in - Discover Science!, pursues a broad approach in this regard: The offerings are intended to engage children and adolescents of all age groups and school types, sparking their interest in science and research. Many dedicated members of the TU Braunschweig contribute to the offerings of the School-University Working Group network. You can get an insight into this in the membership directory.

An early contact with the TU Braunschweig supports the later education and study orientation of the participants and promotes a realistic assessment of their own potential as well as an early connection to the TU Braunschweig.
In the School-University Working Group, all School-University offerings as well as School-University representatives are organized. The Working Group (AG) is supported by external counsellors from educational and scientific institutions in Braunschweig. The School-University Working Group network is affiliated with the Executive Board of TU Braunschweig
The offerings have been collaborating with established partner facilities from education, science, business, and industry for many years. Foundations provide sustainable support to the projects and also give new initiatives opportunities for a start.
Be part and benefit: Those who wish to initiate a new School-University offering at TU Braunschweig can submit an informal application for membership in the School-University Working Group through the management and benefit right from the start.
The initiators of new School-University offerings are advised by the School-University Working Group regarding the concept, financing, advertising, and evaluation. In addition, new School-University offerings gain access to the internal online guide with numerous tips for process optimization and quality assurance.
All School-University offerings are listed on the regularly updated central website.
