Welcome to the website of our junior research group „Structured Light Microscopy“!
We are working within the research cluster NanoLight inside of QUANOMET. Currently, we are composed of scientific staff from the Institute of Semiconductor Technology, the Institute of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Clinical Pharmacy and the Institute of Mathematical Physics. We have close collaborations with the Institute of Microtechnology and ec2 (epitaxy competence center).
In the institutes we are carrying out research on the following topics:
Institute of Semiconductor Technology
- Epitaxy of 3D GaN/InGaN LEDs
- Processing of LED arrays
- Lensless microscopy and holography
Institute of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Clinical Pharmacy
- Typ 2 diabetes with the focus on micro physiology of the pancreatic islets
- Investigation of stimulus-secretion coupling in the beta-cell
Institute of Mathematical Physics
- Theoretical description of quantum transport in low dimensional systems
- Detection and manipulation of charge, spin and photonic quantum degree of freedom
Institute of Microtechnology
- Lab-on-Chip, Organ-on-Chip
- Sensor microfabrication
- Structuring by ultra-short pulse lasers
Within our interdisciplinary collaboration we combine our expertise to accomplish methodological progress by direct application on relevant biomedical systems.
