Bio

Ali is a postdoctoral researcher at ISM specializing in turbulent flow simulations. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, College Park; where he worked on wall-modeling and grid adaptation for Large Eddy Simulations (LES). Currently he is working on a DFG project to implement active flow control in Diesel engines. His research includes turbulent flow simulations using both RANS and LES methods.
