In 2023, the Institute of Geomechanics and Geotechnical Engineering organized the 'Steel in Hydraulic Engineering' symposium at TU Braunschweig for the seventh time together with terra infrastructure GmbH. The symposium is a forum for all experts who feel connected to this topic. The aim is to initiate a meeting, reunion and exchange of ideas between employees from engineering offices and authorities as well as construction companies and research institutions.
Having dealt with many detailed topics at previous events, this year's agenda focused on the major issues of climate change and sustainability.
Once again this year, we had put together an interesting program of current topics, stimulating intensive discussions with 120 participants. In addition, there was also plenty of scope for exchanging experiences and maintaining relationships and contacts, for example at the evening event on Thursday, which brought us together in Braunschweig.
