On 11th December 2024 Dr. Thomas Kleine-Ostmann Physikalisch-Technischen Bundesanstalt (PTB) has been appointed as extraordinary Professor at TU Braunschweig. The certificate has been handed over by Prof. Manfred Krafczyk Vice-President Digitasation and Sustainability at TU Braunschweig. Following the tradition at IfN the new professor has been escorted by a large group of IfN employees on his way from the President’s office to the institute. Prof. Kleine-Ostmann is an external lecturer at IfN since 2008 teaching Microwave and Wireless Metrology. Apart from that he has been cooperating in various research project of the Mobile Radio Systems Group at IfN, amongst others DFG FOR 2863 Meteracom.
