Project Meeting CliMax

A project meeting in the CliMax project took place at the Institute of Geoecology on Monday. Researchers from the Julius Kühn Institute and TU Braunschweig presented current results and discussed them together with practice partners from the municipalities of Brandenburg (Havel) and Braunschweig. The project will run until autumn 2025 and aims to gain a better understanding of the water supply of urban trees, detect stress symptoms at an early stage and maintain a long-lasting tree population for optimal carbon storage. The close involvement of our municipal practice partners is particularly important for the practical relevance of our results, and we would like to thank them for their participation!
