Urban Ecology

Cities are among the most human-dominated landscapes, yet they are not lifeless asphalt deserts, but amazingly biodiverse and diverse. Understanding, conserving, and enhancing this diversity and associated ecosystem services is our goal. Our research focuses on urban waters, gardens, urban trees, cats, and coyotes in cities.

• Maximizing carbon sequestration in urban trees (CliMax)
