On 13.12.2017, the senate of TU Braunschweig adopted the guideline for handling research data at TU Braunschweig. It defines regulations and recommendations for the handling of research data for researchers. In addition, TU Braunschweig commits itself to create the conditions for the fulfilment of these principles and to support the researchers by establishing suitable infrastructure, consulting and further education offers.
With the guideline on Open Access, TU Braunschweig encourages its scientists to publish their research results in the sense of Open Access to make these results available to the broadest possible public. This serves to promote research, innovation and transfer in society as well as knowledge and business. At the same time, it implements the demand of science policy for Open Access to research results. The updated version of the Open Access Guideline has been in operation since 25.03.2020.
The Guidelines for the Standardised Use of the Name Technische Universität Braunschweig in Publications was passed by the Senate on 20.02.2019. With this, the official name "Technische Universität Braunschweig" and regulations for the affiliation of different institutions were defined. The correct attribution of publications by researchers of TU Braunschweig in different contexts should thus be supported.
