On 12 and 13 March, experts from science and industry met for the ModVal conference in Braunschweig. The conference focused on modelling and model validation of electrochemical storage devices and converters. These include the widespread lithium-ion batteries and fuel cells as well as next-generation batteries for power generation with rechargeable lithium-air batteries.
