What‘s your nicest memory of Braunschweig and do you have a favorite place?

The Catholic student hall of residence was the basis for a still very active network of fellow students. The canteen and, when I could afford it, a meal in the "Teppichmensa".

Reasons why the TU Braunschweig is a great place to study:

Small town, short distances, many points of contact.

Describe the time of your studies in 3 words:

Absorbing technical basics.

Which contents of your studies can you still use in your career today?

Even though I quickly got onto the business management track, the basics of electrical engineering studies are an important daily part of quickly understanding technical projects and communicating on an equal footing.

Are you still in touch with former fellow students? Do you see each other and if so, how often?

Yes, we meet up with the former "Stuko" group every year somewhere in Germany... Lifelong friendships have developed here.

What advice would you give current students for their personal career planning?

  1. Plan a stay abroad during your studies.
  2. Follow the passion, the project must be the right one, not the company name.
  3. Just try something out and rather make one mistake too many.

In one sentence - In the future I wish the TU Braunschweig:

Successful graduates who carry the TU BS into the world...
