What‘s your nicest memory of Braunschweig and do you have a favorite place?

The sports festivals were the annual highlight with unforgettable memories.

Reasons why the TU Braunschweig is a great place to study:

Even back in the days one of the best Mechanical Engineering universities in Germany, especially with the opportunity to study Aerospace Engineering.

Describe the time of your studies in 3 words:

  • versatile,
  • learning-intensive,
  • interesting.

Which contents of your studies can you still use in your career today?

Directly: none ... but in a transferable sense:
- the way I approach tasks
- a structured way of working
- the ability to face up to new, possibly complicated tasks
- stamina
- the willingness to take on management responsibility

Are you still in touch with former fellow students? Do you see each other and if so, how often?

No, I am not.

What advice would you give current students for their personal career planning?

  1. Perception of your job as a calling is of central importance if higher management levels are aspired to.
  2. Visibility within the company is crucial.
  3. Personal commitment to accomplishing tasks, even beyond the normal, helps.

In one sentence - In the future I wish the TU Braunschweig:

More visibility in terms of research accomplishments, and all other possible success for the students and the region.
