First Semester

[Translate to English:]

We make your start in your program easier

At the beginning of the sommer semester, from 12 October to 16 October 2026, we organise a three-day introductory programme with many events for you. You will be introduced to the structure of your degree programme, learn about the campus, the structures of the TU and our institutes. Here is a small insight into what you can expect during the introductory week:

  • Introduction to your degree programme
Our programme coordinators will give you the most important informations about your programme and your contact persons. They will also be happy to answer your initial questions about the programme.
  • Presentation of the specialisations
For our Master's students, our lecturers offer detailed presentations of the specialisations. Here you can get a taste of the specialisations that interest you.
  • NightVibes & Networking
Of course, the parties are not to be missed. The varied evening programme is organised by your student representatives. You also have the opportunity to get to know your fellow students during a weekend excursion.

In addition to the structure of your studies, you will also get to know your contact persons who will support you in word and deed during your study.

Are you curious? Then come to our introductory week!

The President of our university traditionally welcomes all first-semester students at the beginning of the winter semester in an introductory event in the EINTRACHT-STADION. We would like to invite you to join us on 19 October 2026 at 9:00 am! Afterwards an information fair will take place in the old building from 10.30 am. Faculty 3 will have a stand here to answer any questions you may have.
