First Semester

We make the start to your studies easier

At the beginning of the semester, from 07.10. to 11.10.2024, we organise an introductory programme with many events for you. You will be introduced to the structure of your degree programme, learn about the campus, the structures of the TU and our institutes. Here is a small insight into what you can expect during the introductory week:

• Brunch with the lecturers
  At our brunch with the lecturers, you can talk to your lecturers in a relaxed atmosphere over a cup of coffee about the topics that excite you.
• Presentation of the specialisations
  For our Master's students, our lecturers offer detailed presentations of the specialisations. Here you can get a taste of the specialisations that interest you.
• Institute tours
  Do you already know our numerous laboratories and experimental halls? During our institute tours you can visit our research facilities and take a look at our current research activities.
• Party life
  Of course, the parties are not to be missed. The varied evening programme is organised by your student representatives. You also have the opportunity to get to know your fellow students during a weekend excursion.

In addition to the structure of your studies, you will also get to know your contact persons who will support you in word and deed during your study.
