In the faculties and central institutions, decentralised equal opportunity officers from all status groups are committed to creating equal opportunities.
The decentralised equal opportunity officers accompany staffing and appointment procedures, are represented on faculty committees, and provide advice, for example, in cases of sexual harassment or on the compatibility of family and studies or career.

The goal of the advisory board is to promote diversity, the compatibility of family and studies or family and doctorate, and gender equality at Faculty 3.
Within this framework, its responsibilities include providing information and advice to the Faculty Council, public relations, assisting in the fulfillment of the Equal Opportunity Plan, and reviewing procedures and programs.
The Advisory Board is composed of teaching and academic staff, students and staff from technology and administration of Faculty 3.
The Advisory Board may also grant scholarships and award laureates in cooperation with the Matthäi Foundation.

Prerequisite
You are studying or doing your doctorate at Faculty 3 of the TU Braunschweig and have family care responsibilities or face other barriers to studying.
