For many people, an internship is an orientation opportunity to find a career ( school internship), to put theoretical knowledge into practice (job internship) or to complete the required internship semester at the university.
The TU Braunschweig has been offering these different internships for many years:
The conclusion of an internship contract for the compulsory internships is mandatory. This contract is drawn up by the Human Resources Department and must be signed before the start of the internship.
Applications must be sent in writing to the respective departments (please always enclose a school or matriculation certificate, internship semester regulations, copy of the training contract or proof of the compulsory internship).
The responsibility for the allocation of internship places lies with the respective contact persons of the institutes, departments, divisions.
The TU Braunschweig does not offer paid internships that cause additional costs (minimum wage and/or social security contributions). The TU Braunschweig also does not offer so-called "taster internships", which have no legal relationship and are not required as part of a theoretical education.
