Start-up projects from science are often financially supported by public programmes. We are happy to advise you on the application process and also support you with patent law issues.

Please contact us before you set up your company or apply for industrial property rights! In most cases, funding can no longer be granted afterwards.

BMWK: EXIST start-up grant:
We at the Transfer Service support you (students, doctoral candidates, postdocs, scientists) with your start-up project and help you apply for the EXIST start-up grant. Contact: m-c.hahn@tu-braunschweig.de

Start-up projects from universities are frequently funded through public grant programmes. We provide advice and support for your application.

We can also refer start-up projects based on patent applications to funding programmes specialised in this field.

Please speak to us before establishing your business and before making any application to establish property rights! Funding is usually not available afterwards.

Please note: applications for the EXIST funding programmes are prepared and submitted in close collaboration with the start-up support service of the Technology Transfer Office. You should therefore get in touch with us as early as possible, particularly in the case of EXIST research transfer funding which has a fixed deadline.
