Unfortunately, we do not have a current call for proposals for this funding!

As part of the ProDiGI funding line, we support your activities in establishing and expanding international digital teaching at TU Braunschweig. In this call for funding, our focus is on equipping new and improving existing digital settings that can support you in your international teaching at present or in the future.

Examples for this are:

  • Funding for the purchase of additional components for teaching labs already set up by ProDiGI in the faculties
  • Funding for the purchase of additional components for other already existing, digital and/or hybrid teaching spaces at your institute
  • Funding for the new installation of digital and/or hybrid teaching spaces in your institute, if established (e.g. confirmed by the institute management) that it does not currently have sufficient equipment for this purpose.
  • ...

Background to this funding

The technical equipment is intended to enable lecturers and students at the TU as well as lecturers and students of international teaching cooperations who are connected online to participate on an equal footing. Both permanently installed lecture hall technology and mobile technology such as loudspeakers, camera and microphone systems for seminar rooms can be applied for.

International digital teaching is understood here as an opportunity to use the knowledge and experience of a diverse student and teaching landscape to improve the curricula and to create international (teaching/learning) communities. Internationalisation is achieved not only through mobility abroad, but also through the training of international competences at the home university, e.g. through virtual exchanges or digital guest lectures. In order to enable global learning and teaching in a satisfactory way, innovative methods, tools, technical equipment and digital technologies are required.
