Every summer semester, the TU Braunschweig Green Office presents the TUmorrow Awards. With the TUmorrow Awards, the Green Office would like to encourage academic and voluntary engagement with the topic of sustainability. We would like to give greater visibility and express appreciation to qualitative implementations in particular. The focus is on all three areas of sustainability, so submissions can be on social as well as ecological and economic issues.
The prize money for the TUmorrow Awards 2023 and 2024 was kindly provided by the Braunschweigischer Hochschulbund e.V.
The next application phase for the TUmorrow Awards will start in spring 2025 and prizes are expected to be awarded in the categories “Student Engagement”, “Outstanding Bachelor's Thesis”, “Outstanding Master's Thesis” and “Outstanding Course”, each with prize money of €500.
The five best submissions in each category will be summarized in a journal this year. The journal will use practical examples to show how members of TU Braunschweig are working on ways to develop our society for the future. The journal is expected to be published in fall 2024 and can be found here.
