There is a wide range of resources and offers for teachers and those responsible for study courses at TU Braunschweig to support you in the (re)design of study programmes and modules.
The decision as to whether or not a study programme "suits" TU Braunschweig and how it is structured is based on a matching with the profile of TU Braunschweig, the goals and values of the university and the characteristics of our graduates defined in the years 2015 & 2016.
In 2017, guidelines for the quality assurance of bachelor's and master's degree programmes were developed which must be taken into account in the (further) development of study programmes.
Which study programmes are introduced, changed or discontinued is agreed annually between the university and the Ministry of Science and Culture in the agreement on the study programme objectives for the next academic year.
The responsibility for study quality and the design of study programmes lies primarily in the hands of the faculties. The Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs carries the overall responsibility and is supported by the team for Academic and Student Affairs (Department 16). Within the framework of the Round Table of Deans of Studies, there is a regular exchange between the central and decentralised levels.
Apart from the legal specifications, the following documents are relevant for study programmes at TU Braunschweig. Please note that these documents are currently only available in German.
