Who awards the scholarships?
Scholarship offer of the Braunschweig Technical Association from 1887 e.V.
The Technikerverein Braunschweig von 1887 e.V. is a non-profit association with the purpose of promoting contact between members and society and business as well as technical professions in the Braunschweig region.
The Technikerverein Braunschweig e.V. therefore supports young academics in the Braunschweig region, especially in the field of technology, by awarding scholarships.
What is awarded?
The Technikerverein awards two scholarships to students of the TU Braunschweig each winter semester. The amount of the scholarship is 500.00 euros per semester as a one-time payment. The funding period is a maximum of four semesters. In addition to financial support, the scholarship also includes non-material support. The scholarship holders become members of the association for the duration of their sponsorship and take part in joint events.
How are the scholarships awarded?
The scholarships are awarded based on performance. The Technikerverein would like to support students who are particularly committed to their studies, who achieve at least good academic performance and who take social responsibility.

Your application must be received by the end of October of the respective year.
How are the scholarship recipients selected?
A joint selection committee consisting of representatives of the TU Braunschweig and the Technikerverein Braunschweig e.V. will make the selection based on the applications received.
The Technikerverein Braunschweig von 1887 e.V. reserves the right to invite suitable candidates to a selection interview at short notice. All applicants will be informed of the decision in writing.
What else should I know?
The scholarship holders become members of the Technikerverein Braunschweig von 1887 e.V. for the duration of their sponsorship and take part in the life of the association.
You will report once or twice a year at a joint event on the progress of your studies and give a presentation on your theses.
The maximum funding period is four semesters.
At the beginning of each semester, the scholarship holders must provide the association with suitable proof of their re-registration at the TU Braunschweig. In the event of exmatriculation, the funding ends.
