The SE²A researchers at the Institute of Acoustics and the Institute of Dynamics and Vibrations at TU Braunschweig are working on new aircraft concepts as part of noise research. More specifically, the researchers are working on the development of methods to predict and control cabin noise. With the help of simulations and calculations, predictions can be made about how noise "spreads out" in an aircraft cabin and thus contribute to the development of new concepts.
