Fly High Ticket
"Film is not me seeing, film is me flying", writes philosopher Paul Virilio, alluding to the relationship between seeing film and flying machines. Inspired by this, the Science & Art Lab at TU Braunschweig, together with the Cluster of Excellence SE²A, invites you to the Fly High short film night. In addition to a panel discussion and insights into current research findings, a short film programme curated in cooperation with the Braunschweig International Film Festival will be shown.
After a welcome by Prof Peter Hecker, Vice President for Research and Academic Careers at TU Braunschweig, Dr Jule Hillgärtner & Henrike Wenzel from the Science & Art Lab of TU Braunschweig and Prof Jens Friedrichs, spokesperson of the SE²A Cluster of Excellence, we are looking forward to presenting our SE²A image film for the first time.
Following this, we can look forward to a moderated panel discussion on the future of flight and the exchange between science, art and society, as well as guided tours of neighbouring TU Braunschweig research institutes at the Research Airport Campus.
The main event of the evening will be the short film programme curated by the Braunschweig International Film Festival.
