In our research group we try to answer two research questions. First question focuses on the numerical methods, and it can be formulated as follows: “how can we model the skin heat exchanger for non-conventual aircraft configurations with electrical propulsion system powered by fuel cells?”. Second question focuses on the engineering aspects of using skin heat exchangers, like “How can we improve aerodynamics of the airplane with skin heat exchangers?” or “what are the benefits or drawbacks of using skin heat exchanger on the airplanes?”. Our research group focuses on reducing overall mass, increasing amount of energy dissipated and improving aerodynamics of the airplane.
