The ceremony with guests from science, economy and politics was a highlight in the Braunschweig anniversary year "10 years city of science" and an important milestone in the further development of the research region Braunschweig. The future campus partners are the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI), the German Centre for Infection Research (DZIF), the Leibniz Institute DSMZ-German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures, the Technical University of Braunschweig, the Fraunhofer Institute for Toxicology and Experimental Medicine ITEM and the Biotechnological Student Laboratory Braunschweig (BioS).
