At the end of August, an official delegation from the British city of Bath traveled to Braunschweig. The occasion was the inauguration of the Bath Garden in the Bürgerpark, which was created as a symbol of the long-standing friendly ties between the partner cities of Braunschweig and Bath.
During their stay, the British delegation also visited BRICS, where Prof. Dieter Jahn (BRICS spokesman) gave them a guided tour of the modern research center. Mayor Dine Romero from Bath, herself a biologist, was very interested in the exchange with Prof. Dieter Jahn. Overall, the guests were very impressed by the cultural and leisure activities on offer in their twin city and, above all, by Braunschweig as a research and science location.
