For two days, international scientists visited the Technische Universität Braunschweig. The mission: to check whether the Carolo-Wilhelmina should receive the title of Excellence University. A total of 19 universities are applying for funding - 11 of them will be selected on 19 July on the basis of their future concepts and the on-site assessment. The aim of the Excellence Strategy of the Federal Government and the Federal States is to promote cutting-edge research in Germany.
