25th International Symposium on Mathematical Programming (ISMP)

[F. Kroner, M. Lahmann, E. Ley, S. Ammann, L.-M. Manke, T. Niemann, D. H. Cebulla, A. M. Tillmann, I. Joormann]

Members of the Institute attended the "25th International Symposium on Mathematical Programming (ISMP)" in Montréal, Canada.

In the course of the conference, several group members were allowed to give talks on current research topics. Frederic Kroner gave a talk on "Optimizing Airport Selection for Electric Aircraft Operations Across Europe" vor, Sabrina Ammann spoke on "A speed-up for Helsgaun's TSP heuristic by relaxing the positive gain criterion", Lisa-Marie Manke presented "A New Labeling Approach for a Special Case of the Multicommodity Flow Problem", Dr. Dominik H. Cebulla gave a talk on "Towards robust optimization of chromatographic separation processes with flow reversal", Eva Ley presented "Robust Optimization Under Controllable Uncertainty", Tim Niemann spoke on "General Polyhedral Approximation of Two-Stage Robust Linear Programming", Michel Lahmann gave a talk on "A parallelizable ADMM approach for block-structured quadratic programs" und Dr. Andreas Tillmann presented "Sequential Mixed-Integer Programming for Matrix Sparsification". We are happy about the newly gained insights and established contacts.
