New Podcast Episode on Marine Engineering with Nils Goseberg and Torsten Schlurmann

Climate change poses significant challenges to coastal regions around the world. Rising sea levels, more intense storms and coastal erosion threaten habitats, infrastructure and the environment.  In this podcast, journalist Bärbel Fening talks to two experts in coastal protection about innovative approaches and engineering solutions. Prof. Nils Goseberg, Professor of Hydromechanics, Coastal and Ocean Engineering at the Leichtweiß-Institute for Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources at the TU Braunschweig and Torsten Schlurmann, Professor of Hydraulic and Coastal Engineering at the Leibniz Universität Hannover and managing director of the Ludwig Franzius Institute of Hydraulic, Estuarine and Coastal Engineering in Hannover. They are also the managing directors of the Coastal Research Centre, a joint institution of Leibniz Universität Hannover and TU Braunschweig (https://www.fzk.uni-hannover.de/de/)
