Scientififc Researcher / PhD Student
I have been working in the division of Hydrology and River Basin Management at the LWI As a research associate since the end of 2018. The core of my environmental science research and teaching are methods for describing the anthropogenic impact on our water resources as a basis for their protection and ensuring sustainable water resource management.
As a doctoral student in the HyPoWaBS project, I am investigating the dynamics and renewal processes of the groundwater resources in Braunschweig using various techniques (including tritium-helium dating, stable water isotope analysis), models and extensive field investigations. The work serves as a contribution to the future safeguarding of water supply security in times of rapid climate change and increasing meteorological-hydrological extremes.
