Located in Le Mans, a midsize city ranked in the top 10 of the most liveable cities in France, ENSIM (École Nationale Supérieure d’Ingénieurs du Mans) is a part of Le Mans University where 13 000 students (including 2 000 international students) are enrolled.
ENSIM is an engineering school affiliated with the Réseau Polytech, conferring the title of « graduate engineer » accredited by the Cti (Commission des Titres d'ingénieurs) with the level of a master’s degree.
ENSIM students get to choose between two majors: Acoustics and instrumentation (A&I) or Computer sciences (Info). Halfway through the engineer course, they can further specialize by choosing one of two concentrations within each major: « Vibration, Acoustics » or « Sensors and Instrumentation for the Environment » for A&I; « Real-time Computing and Embedded Systems » or « Human–Computer Interactions » for Info.
With 38 permanent teachers and over 80 industry professionals for 350 students, our school provides excellent support and guidance and cultivates close relationships with the industrial sector. Our teaching method is learning by doing, which is why 50% of our classes are dedicated to labs and projects.
