Yevheniia Berchul is a research associate and enrolled as a PhD student at the Institute for Sustainable Urbanism (ISU). She earned her master’s degree in architecture and urban design from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv and was part of the Deutsche Bundestiftung Umwelt Fellowship program for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Her current research focuses on participatory approaches and digital practices to address environmental damage in conflict-affected territories of Ukraine.
