Compiler 2 introduces advanced topics and current state-of-the-art in compiler technologies. There will be a brief recap of the contents of Compiler 1 and compiler front-ends.
Due to the current situation, Compiler 2 will be organized as an online course in the winter term 20/21. Lecture materials (i.e., such as videos, slides, or exercises) will be distributed and managed via stud.ip (https://studip.tu-braunschweig.de).
Furthermore, Compiler 2, which focuses on compiler back-ends, complements the previously held lecture Compiler 1. As such, former participants of Compiler 1 are invited to deepen their understanding and knowldge of compiler construction. However, Compiler 1 is not (!) a prerequisite to attend Compiler 2, as a brief recap of necessary background information is part of the introduction.
