The pre-registration for the team project takes place by e-mail to k.rosiak@tu-bs.de. The e-mail has to contain your first name, last name, and matriculation number.
The kick-off meeting is expected to take place on October 19th, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the BigBlueButton. All those who have pre-registered will receive a link to the room by email.
The team project is primarily for bachelor and master students in computer science, business informatics, and IST. For Bachelor students, we offer the module as a team project and for Master students as an in-depth internship.
Good programming knowledge in Java is necessary, and a prerequisite for this module.
Nothing for the drawer! A framework developed at the institute will be actively expanded to include functionality.
You participate in the e4CompareFramework, which was developed for the rapid development of prototypes. This framework is used in various projects such as the Variability Analysis Toolkit (VAT), which is used to analyze software systems in plant and mechanical engineering.
The team project will take place during the winter semester 2020 and is considered as a course for the corresponding semester.
Bachelor students can introduce this module as a "team project," Master students as an "advanced internship."
In the first two days, we give you an introduction to the Eclipse-RCP working environment, support you in setting up the working environment, and give an introduction to the framework's operation. Then teams of 2 to 4 participants come together to program and test predefined story cards in pair programming.
There are milestones, stand-up meetings, and the project ends with a presentation from each team.
