New Head of the Institute

Since October 2024, the Institute of Software Engineering and Automotive Informatics is headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Thüm.

Professor Thomas Thüm has accepted the call from TU Braunschweig and moved from the University of Paderborn to Braunschweig on October 1, 2024, together with his post-doctoral researcher Sebastian Krieter. Until March 2024, both were still working at the University of Ulm and are now waking the local institute from a slumber that lasted several semesters.

Doctoral students from the University of Ulm and the University of Paderborn will follow in the coming months, so that the institute will be able to offer a larger range of courses again in the summer semester of 2025. Theses can be completed at the institute again from the turn of the year. Topics for this will be presented in a hybrid event towards the end of the winter semester - probably in January.

The ISF team is looking forward to teaching and research at TU Braunschweig and asks for your understanding that only a limited range of courses will be available for the time being.
