The professional group “electrical and electrochemical characterization” addresses the study particulate products and intermediates regarding their electrical and electrochemical properties.
Its main focus lies on the (further) development of characterization methods as cell building for cycling and electrochemical impedance-spectroscopy measurements of battery materials as well as conductivity measurements.
Furthermore, latest results concerning differently processed materials are discussed in interdisciplinary panels and new ideas are continuously developed.
The objective pursues the gathering of information with regard to transport processes of different charge carriers, e.g. electrons and ions, within particulate structures generated at the iPAT.
