The city of Zaragoza is the capital of Aragon and has a history going back more than 2000 years. It boasts diverse influences and legacies from Christian, Roman, Jewish, Arab and Iberian culture. It is also the fifth largest city in Spain with its approximately 700,000 inhabitants.
Today, Zaragoza is a very interesting city for tourists due to its wide range of attractions. Visitors can also choose from many stores, restaurants and numerous leisure activities.
In September, an Spanish intensive course (60 hours workload, of which 42 face-to-face) is offered in Zaragoza.
It is not required to have any knowledge of Spanish in order to participate in these courses. In case you already have some knowledge of Spanish, you will take an online placement test to determine the appropriate language level and course.
The number of participants has a maximum of 20 per course and is therefore very limited. Applicants must confirm their participation before enrolment and payment.
During the summer courses, additional excursions within Aragon and smaller trips to other interesting places in Spain are organised. However, these are not included in the price.
Zaragoza has a convenient location, as both the cities of Madrid and Barcelona can be reached in less than 1.5 hours by train. Similarly, trips to the Mediterranean, the Cantabrian Sea or even the Pyrenees are also included.
