Public outreach is of major importance to advertise the importance of natural science to the broader community. Therefore, we actively maintain a twitter feed, a YouTube channel and a webpage to present our scientific work to the public. In addition, we actively promote the project and the importance of science during open-house days. As an example, we explained how to cook a comet in the kitchen during an open-house day for pupils at the TU Braunschweig. The CoPhyLab project has positively received public interest, as can be seen by several media reports in the internet (e.g., Nouvelles-du-monde, APA or Newsbeezer) and in several renowned newspapers (e.g., Der Standard or Die Presse).
