Three architecture institutes of the TU Braunschweig are currently transforming the Hagenmarkt into a real laboratory and the IGEP is part of it! A four-person team from our institute carried out geophysical measurements on the Thursday before last, in order to examine the near-surface underground of this inner-city area. Madhuri Sugand, Dennis Kreith, Christopher Virgil and Matthias Bücker defied the afternoon heat on the second warmest day of the year to date to carry out measurements with the ground penetrating radar and an electromagnetic induction method (EM38).
