At the annual meeting of the German Geophysical Society (DGG), IGEP members received a downpour of awards: Doctoral student Madhuri Sugand convinced the audience so much with her presentation entitled "Reciprocity performance of high-frequency induced polarisation field system, Chameleon II" that she won the prize for the best presentation of young scientists. We congratulate Madhuri and her co-authors Andreas Hördt, Johannes Hoppenbrock and Jan Mudler for this award!
In a photo competition organized to celebrate the centenary of the DGG, contributions by Andreas Hördt and Matthias Bücker were also awarded. The picture submitted by Andreas in the category "Measurement and Geophysics" shows the transport of our geoelectrical equipment in Tibet - on horseback! Matthias picture from the category "Man and Geophysics" shows Theresa Maierhofer (TU Vienna) and Johannes Buckel during a measurement on the Hoher Sonnblick in Austria. Congratulations to both of you!
