With a 14-member delegation, the IGEP was strongly represented at the annual conference 2023 of the German Geophysical Society, which took place from the 6th to the 9th March at the University of Bremen. For four days, the participants were could report on their own thesis and research projects, exchange ideas with students and colleagues from other universities, research institutions and companies, and develop new ideas.
The IGEP was also able to take home a prize: Dennis Kreith, PhD student at IGEP, convinced with his presentation titled "Numerical modeling of the spectral induced polarization response of closely packed metallic particles in sand-column experiments" and won the student award for the best presentation.
