We warmly welcome Mrs. Dr. Yuna Kwon, who has started a two-year research visit at the IGeP on November 1st. Her visit is funded by the Alexander-von-Humboldt Foundation. This year in August, Yuna has obtained her PhD from the Seoul National University in South Corea and she studies the physical and chemical properties of small solar-system objects by means of astronamical methods. She uses polarimetric, photometric and spectroscopic observations of coments and asteroids in order to determine the micro-physical properties of their surfaces and the emmitted dust.
