Hi, I'm Chiara, I'm 21 years old and I'm currently in the 3rd semester of my bachelor's degree. Synbio is a great option for me to learn new things and to have a look into the processes of research. I'm mainly interested in plants and cell biology, but I'm still very open and want to try out as much as I can. What fascinates me most about biology are the many possible combinations and the options of using creative approaches to learn and discover new things. It's like a puzzle game, only real and even more interesting.

Hey, my name is Julia Lüpkes, I'm 21 years old and I'm studying Biology in the 3rd semester of my Bachelor's degree. In biology, I'm particularly interested in microbiology and mycology, as they give you the feeling of immersing yourself in a completely different world. I'm taking part in the SynBio project this year because I'd like to gain new experience in the lab, but I also want to take advantage of the opportunity to set up a whole project with my colleagues and realise my own ideas.

Hey, my name is David and I'm currently in my 5th Bachelor's semester at the TU Braunschweig. The SynBio project is a unique opportunity for me to develop my own idea and realise it in a structured way. The aspects of organisation, management and sponsorship in particular make this project so exciting for me. I am particularly interested in topics such as neurobiology and infection biology.

Hi, I'm Julia Vetter, 20 years old and I'm currently in the 3rd semester of my bachelor's degree in biology. I am particularly fascinated by neurobiology and biomedicine because I find it incredibly exciting how the knowledge gained can be transferred to humans.
For me, participating in SynBio is a great way to gain valuable experience and meet different people who are committed and enjoy collaboration, problem solving and creative thinking.
My interests are mainly lab work, research and social media, as I am looking at how best to reach people and give insights into our project.
