- During your student internship you get a comprehensive insight into the world of scientific research and (process) technology as well as the university work environment. It is advantageous if you have a basic interest in scientific and technical issues and, for example, play with the idea of completing an apprenticeship / degree in engineering or science after school.
Typical stations during the internship are:
- Participation in student laboratories such as rectification, crystallization or adsorption
- Investigations on the scanning electron microscope
- Insights into the drawing of technical flow diagrams
- Participation in lectures such as "Thermal Process Engineering", "Chemical Process Engineering" or "Design of Process Engineering Plants"
- Theory and application of beer brewing in the institute's own BRAU-AG
- Working in the laboratory on various analysis measuring devices
- Work on test stands such as evaporators or fouling systems
If you have further questions or would like to know whether an internship is available during your desired period, you can contact Lukas Rohwer. You will also send your application documents there, which should include the following:
- Cover letter with motivation
- Curriculum vitae
- Copy of the last two certificates
We look forward to hearing from you!
Female students have the opportunity to apply for an internship at several institutes via the π-nut program of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and should prefer this route for organizational reasons.
