I’m Wenzhuo Ma, from China. I graduated from the University of Manchester (UK) with M. Sc. Textile Technology in 2016, and also obtained B. Eng. Textile Engineering degree from the Jiangnan University (China) in 2015. My master work mainly focused on fibre reinforced polymer composites, aiming to optimise the hybrid structure of ballistic composites. After my master study, I worked as a technical engineer in Shanghai for more than two years, providing technical support for antimicrobial treatment on textiles and polymers. I have been working in FGO since Sep 2020, as a Ph. D. candidate, as well as the research assistant in Enhanced Renewable Resource Efficiency by Using Materials from Agricultural and Forestry, Construction and Demolition Wastes towards Sustainable Built Environment (ReMatBuilt) project. I aim to investigate the structural performance and long-term durability of textile reinforced recycled aggregate concrete-timber composites.
