Using public transport when arriving by train at central station Braunschweig take one of the following routes to get to Mendelssohnstrasse:
take the bus 419 (direction of Volkmarode) or bus 429 (direction of Westbahnhof) and get off at bus stop 'Gliesmaroder Strasse'
take tram 3 or 8 (direction of Volkmarode) and get off at tram stop 'Grabenstrasse'
from there the Mendelssohnstrasse is in walking distance following the Gliesmaroder Strasse, turning left into Beethovenstrasse and then right into Mendelssohnstrasse
Arrival by car:
Approaching Braunschweig from Hanover or Berlin: Motorway A2 until 'Braunschweig Nord Junction', following the A391 leaving at 'Ölper Junction'.
Approaching Braunschweig from Kassel: Motorway A7 until 'Saltzgitter Dreieck Junction', following the A39 until 'Braunschweig Dreieck Südwest', join the A391 and leave at 'Ölper Junction'.
From there in both cases: Take the A392 in the direction of the City Centre, leaving at branching-off 'Hamburger Strasse', following the signpost 'City Centre', joining the Rebenring, Hans-Sommer-Strasse (see map of city centre), Beethovenstrasse, Mendelssohnstrasse (see map of eastern campus).
