In the Institute of Geoecology (IGÖ) we deal with interdisciplinary natural science issues oriented towards environmental problems.

We

investigate the causes and consequences of current environmental problems related to human-induced global change
try to find solutions to the consequences of climate change, the loss of biodiversity and the transformation of landscapes and their ecosystems
teach these exciting aspects in the course of study Environmental Sciences
