The junior professorship Urban Environmental Interfaces, jointly established with the LWI, starts its work in November on the 4th floor of the IGÖ. Dr. Ilhan Özgen, MSc and PhD TU Berlin, from Berkeley Lab will receive the appointment certificate on November 10. With his work in process-based hydrological modeling, especially multi-scale modeling and high-performance computing of hydrological processes, he brings an excellent addition to the expertise at the IGÖ and LWI. We wish him a good start and look forward to working with him.
