The report presents the results of a preliminary study conducted in 2024 in the southern regions of Ukraine in collaboration with Norwegian People’s Aid and the Conflict and Environment Observatory. The study provides a detailed analysis of the environmental impacts of the war, including significant soil contamination, infrastructure damage, and potential threats to agriculture. This study is an international collaboration between Dr. Anastasiia Spodytel, I. Babanina, Dr. A. McKean, and Doug Weir.
